You should wait. This may be off topic but I bought an iPhone after months of waiting and asking around. Everyone was saying that there wouldn't be anymore iPhones coming out so I got it. Less than 2 months later the 3g iPhone is announced and I was pissed because I was stuck with this new but now later model iPhone. The only way I would say get the Ss now is if gm would accept some kind of upgrade offer for those who had the ss but since it doesn't look like there is going to be a z28 I wouldn't count on that

its called aftermarket for a reason. meaning you can get the car because your putting the things on "after the market"

There's always going to be something bigger and better coming along down the road. You could be waiting for the next 10 years to get that Exclusive Camaro. My opinion is you should get the best camaro you can get, and then make it your own and it'll be even more exclusive than the Z.

Well you've stumbled upon another gripe of mine. If they called the current SS a Z28 would it then be acceptable to you? If it came with 422hp just like the SS but was called Z28 that would make you happy? Sounds like it.

Don't get caught up on the label. Be happy we have a Camaro that can do low 13s and handle like crazy.

Heritage is nice, but it's really just something else that people come up with and put too much value on.

I believe he's saying that the SS badge is put on other cars thus making it less special and exclusive to a Camaro. I think he's wrong and it's insulting considering how powerful the SS is to buyers shallow. He's got it in his head that because of the exclusivity (to the Camaro name) Z28 has, it's for the more dedicated and hardcore SS lover.

The Z/28 badge cars are generally good. But to attribute some mystical power and snobbery to the name based on the badge alone is silly.

Not to mention this car will likely be the fastest Camaro ever. Definitely the best handling. The only car that could hold a candle in acceleration is the 4th Gen SS since some of those were known to run 12s. So, technically, the SS badge has graced the fender of the fastest Camaros to date.

SS is for the shallow Camaro buyer?

Get a shallow SS/RS and stick a puffer on it, to deepen it up.

Wow take it easy on the guy. Who cares if he misspelled something. It's not like he insulted your mother.
