29 days and my trip starts - 34 to the big day

Good news too that I will show up with the mods I want done...done!
The corsa came today and the others are in

....going to be a busy few weekends but fun too

Wow Rick it sounds like your car is going to be an amazing piece of work. I can't wait to see it. I'm still not sure if I'm going to drive mine down or just go ahead and fly.

According to NHRA rules, no, for a +14 car

According to what the V6 Camaro goes 0-60 (-14), yes.

Autocross, yes

Dyno, no

I'm just throwing it out there so no one gets 200 miles into a trip and has an "Oh $h!t" moment.

I thought the stock V6 was a +14 car in the quarter mile.

But you're right. Be on the safe side and bring one.

Of course, I think there will be helmets passed around. lol

Went by the track again this past Tuesday. It seems to be calling all C5 members to be there, so BE THERE !!!

Nothing beats the smell of fresh burning rubber in the morning...

whoa i just looked at the ticker... 33 days. Last I looked it was 40 something, time is really moving... thank goodness!

Went by her today, track that is. Left the gatornationals & thats my way home. What a day of fun 3.81 E.T. at 318 MPH. Got to love it. 1st time & if you have never been to see top fuel you are missing alot . They kick azz.

I'll never forget the first time I saw a car go over 300mph! I went all the way down to the end of the quarter mile and watched from there. Seeing those cars jump off the line at the green light, and not hearing the intense roar of the launch until they seemed to be about a quarter of the way down the track...and then it got louder and Louder and LOUDER!!! I was the only one down there and when the winner went by, he looked over slightly toward my direction and saw me standing there with my fingers in my ears and a smile on my face!!! That was truly something to experience!!!!!

I am in the same boat. I got ARH Longtubes w Cats on order along with the MRT V2.0 exhaust. So I am hoping to have those on by the end of the month. I wanted to install the Pfadt Package too, but I want take a ride in that car first before making a decision.

Can't wait to see it.

I'll be there with a de-tuned SST. :( The engine is too far ahead of the HD driveline parts availability still.
