I foresee 2 issues you will have if you want an exact copy.

- Red halos. (they are illegal in the US. You can still find them but if you use them outside of car shows you will end up paying more in fines and court costs then you did to buy the car.)
- And the red interior abl. I only see this as a issue because it will require custom ordering, manufacturing, and custom electrical work. Something I don't see your dealer doing because they don't want to be responsible if something fries.

Everything else is mostly just addons or remove and send to the paint shop.

As for the price, I think you'll find that you'll spend more then the quote given. The interior alone will run you $10,000 for a complete overhaul like was in the concept (I was going to redo mine in yellow until I sat down and figured out the costs, rather spend the money on other things for the car), more if you get suede inserts like was in the concept. Remember more was done to the interior then just custom seats.

Ok so basically your dealer is customizing a Black 2SS/RS for you, I planed on matte black my hood because I liked it on the LS7 Red concept and it is the look I like also. But what is wrong is your dealer telling you that they are ordering you a BLACK EDITION.

I'm not dogging you its the dealer I think is wrong in claiming that its a BLACK EDITION.

It would be like me doing all the black customizing on mine and claiming its the same.

Anyway congrats on the order. Please post pics when its done.

Yes, it's a "concept car" but isn't the only thing "special" about the car the hood? I don't see how any dealer couldn't build camaro black (minus the red halo's).... am I missing something?????

Personally I think you are getting ripped off and I wouldn't do it!!! The car was a concept only I mean if you want to take it somewhere and have it done that's different, but for a dealer to say you are getting that. It just doesn't sit right with me.

I was at our local dealership this weekend and I saw a 2SS/RS black with orange interior and 21's for $53k! the sticker even showed a $12k markup! Glad I got MSRP.

High 40's is too much for an all black 2SS.
