Dealers near Aberdeen/Bel Air/Forest Hill Maryland

Hey all. First off let me thank you for all of the knowledge you have given me over these past 7 months. As I get closer to ordering (June), I need to know of anyone has some experiences (both bad and good) with dealers in this area and any recommendations of who to talk to and purchase from.

Thanks,
Steve aka emin7

Hey, I don't know how far you are willing to drive but Williams Chevrolet in Elkton Maryland is great. I could hook you up with my dealer, he is a great guy.

My car was ordered by my wife so I have no idea on the MSRP deal. We used our GM card for some discount is all I really know. I don't think the dealers were making deals on the Camaro considering spring is just around the corner.

Under MSRP at Fox in Laurel, shop around. DO NOT pay above sticker.

I absolutely can not steer you away from Ourisman in Rockville enough. (see my post on page 2).

I had also been to Miller in Ellicott City. They said they were selling at sticker with no markup and would honor GM supplier disount if it was something they had on the lot. Just stopped by and talked to a sales guy for about 10 minutes one day. No further info about this place.

I've been reading these forums every day since last summer and have the money saved up for a nice down payment. I'm gettin this car, it's just a waiting game till I get down to Maryland.

For those of you who purchased out of state, how did you handle titling and registration for MD? was the sealer able to help? Also, I will still have a new York state license when I go to purchase. Can I register my car in md and get md plates before I get my md state license? Thanks

That's only about 45 minutes from my future apartment. I'd be more
than willing to take the drive if I can get a decent price from a knowledgeable dealer with good customer service. Did they keep
you up to date with your order tracking?

You can title your car anywhere you reside. If you have a billing address in MD you can register the car here. No, you don't need to have a MD license to do that, but you may have to show proof of residence. Bring a ultility bill in your name that has the same address where you're going to register the car.

Good luck, and take a few pictures of the car when you get it.

I've heard some bad things about the Bob Bell dealership not caring about their customers once they have your money. What personal experience do you have with this dealership

If you are serious about it, I can hook you up with my guy he helped me and my brother buy both of our Camaro's. They currently have about 5 on the lot all in different colors. If you want to take this further just PM me and we can talk details.
