Is the auxiliary input jack a 1/8" (3.5mm) connector that lets you hook up a music player via the AUX mode on the factory radio?

Is this the location of the jack? I see the USB port and what looks like 12V power outlet.

The picture is a little blurry, but that small hole directly below the USB port appears to be the auxiliary input jack.

not everyone owns an ipod though. I would rather an have auxillary jack for my Zune.

USB isn't Ipod specific

i believe the USB port is for a thumb drive

the USB drive is for whatever you want it to be for, it can be anything with a usb cable and if im not mistaken you can charge a lot of things from it.

Yeah but I bought the AC connection for the Zune because I stepped on the USB cable. Now I just sync it wirelessly and If I want to hear it on my car I can just connect it with an auxillary jack I had from before.

IMO that is the aux jack under the USB port

I believe that's what the Wireless PDIM is for.

Not sure if it is the same, but there is a cable that came w/ my BMW .. uses the AUX and the USB .. plug it into the iPhone and play music .. can control it via the steering wheel controls .. I also use a thumbdrive in the USB Drive to play music ..
