hhmm, was built last week 3/3, didn't get vin until 3/6 (probably becuase of stripe application), vehicle has been shipped, but still not on CT...oh well, not important.

Has anyone done an analysis of how long orders are taking from when they are being picked up by GM to when they ship? I tried to do a quick study by looking at the dates in user's signatures and they seem to have improved a great deal. I am at 2500 and it looks like it is taking only 4 weeks to clear production these days. See Morepheus and SilentSonic.

And I thougth I was Obsessed.....>I AM, but your right, it has improved. My guess and it's a GUESS, you will probably have a TPW (3100) with in the 5-7 days and probably have your car by the the last week in April.

Thank you, UCF W00T (are you also spasticsquirrel?) and all involved in putting this thread together. Found my VIN here today AND my window sticker. I'm hoping she's real close to catching a westbound train! And I "claimed" her (#201262) for what it's worth. Westward ho!

Thanks, I think I recall hearing that the dealer had to go into the system and claim it before it will show up.

New to the site, so if I ask a stupid questions I apologize.
I order my car on 2/06/10, the dealer gave me my vin# on 3/04/10. I was able to see my window sticker on that same day. Everytime I have called them they say it is in transit. How long does it normally take in transit?

I would guess 7-10 days from Oshawa to your dealer. When it gets to your local rail yard, it could sit up to a week while it waits for a "full" load going in the direction of your dealer. PM me your VIN and I'll check on its status.
