Wheel damage and 22" wheels

Hey guys. Anyone with 22" wheels who actually drive their cars (no garage queens!) have experience or comments on the very low profile tires in the front? I've had upsized aftermarket wheels in lots of cars and my experience has been that eventually, you will damage your front wheels from hitting road-bridge gaps, potholes, etc. The sidewall height on some 22" wheels in the front is similar to my Audi and the Camaro is a heavier car. So I can't believe that people haven't have issues with their 22" wheels yet. Anyone?

Not sure yet. Gimme a few months and I'll be able to report. lol

I'm getting mine in a few weeks but I'm gonna go with the tallest sidewalls I can without issues.

Good question though.

thought about this too(market for 22s), especially when I scraped a curb over the weekend. Fortunately only marked the tire, not the rim(20s)...

I promise if you spend 2k per wheel you would really watch how you park. Lol

That's like taking you 50k dollar watch to the gym to work out. Your asking for something to happen.

Hahaha, awesome analogy!

I've got 22's on mine, in fact I've had two different sets of 22's. I drove to Vegas and back on one set, no issues. I've had the other set on for a couple weeks and I've driven to San Francisco and back with no issues at all. The roads in SF are pretty bad too.
