For those that my not see a reason to add performance suspension components to a DD car that won't see the track much, here's something to think about.

In my opinion suspension and brakes are the most over looked components in any car. Sure you can instantly "feel" the power of a supercharger or engine mod. But don't make the mistake of thinking you can't feel the same measure of performance increase with suspension and braking mods also. Where as power mods may make your car more "fun", it can also make it more dangerous if you don't respect that power. However, suspension and brakes will always make the car perform better and make it safer to drive as you have more control over the car then you do on a stock car.

Not to say the Camaro isn't safe or fun in stock trim... Just that there is a tangible safety and control benefit to upgraded suspension and brakes in addition to the fun factor.

FWIW.

I'm in the process of installing mine now. Aaron's instructions (included with the parts OR download in color from his website) are right on. I'm about halfway done with no problems so far. The only thing I have done differently from the instructions was make a reference mark on the driveshaft and coupling so I can put it back in the same place.

Got the bushings installed in the cradle, while it's out I've got a few other things to install. I can't wait to see how it drives with these bushings! Thanks Aaron for another great product!!!

It looks like there is still a small amount of movement with these bushings. Is there any concern for wear of the aluminum over time?

I am looking at 00:24 to 00:35 in the video. It could be that the lighting changes and it appears as movement. Even if it did not move, I think the question is still valid. Will vibration or repeated loading and unloading on the aluminum cause wear on the bushings that will require them to need replacing in the future?

That's the lighting in the video shifting around, the mounts allow no movement and require a slight press for a solid connection to the subframe. They are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum then anodized orange... as there isn't any movement in the rear subframe there wont be any degradation of performance over time. 6061 aluminum is way more than sufficient to last the lifetime of the vehicle!

It is certainly a procedure that goes faster with a lift and all of the proper tools. It is not difficult, but it can be more time consuming if you are doing it in your driveway. Take a look at the install instructions here:
