Went to the dealership today to get the oil changed in my car and saw a Malibu in Red Jewel Tint Coat. Talk about a sexy color, the Camaro will look awesome in that color.

I thought about RJT but went with CGM unless there will be a bumble bee package after sema.

There's a guy a few houses down that painted his '06 Vette that color after he was rear-ended.

Definitely going to look good on the Camaro

There was Traverse at the dealership in CGM, it looked good also, but didn't stand out in the sun like RJTC.

I keep hearing about this RJTC and still haven't a clue what it is. Can someone please "enlighten" me and tell me where I can find pics of this? Thanks.

Red Jewel Tint Coat. . . there's a thread started by me with a pictrue of a camaro in this color. . . not a very good one, but there is also a thread started with all the colors offered and real life pictrues.

I have seen pictures of RJTC and pictures don't do the color justice. The only way to really understand the color is to see it in person on a sunny day. Look at your local dealerships website inventory and find a Malibu with RJTC. It is worth the look if you like red at all.

Red Jewel Tint Coat was the same (optional paint) on the 2006/2007 vette which they named Monterey Red. It's what I have on my 06 vette.

I'll post a few photo's when I get home, can't access PhotoBucket from work.

I agree. The first time I saw Red Jewel on a Malibu, it was overcast and I really didn't like the color - too dark/maroon'ish. Then I saw one on the road in full sun and the paint just glows red! And I know that pics don't do this color justice either but here are some I found for you.
