tune a maggie with meth and 91 octane gasoline

I live in Mexico and gasoline here is only 91 octanes, so I'm looking for a safe way to install a SC and still be somewhat aggressive with the tune. I think meth could help us do this. So my question is...

Should we tune the car without the meth, keeping the car somewhat reach and injecting the meth at WOT or should we tune the car with meth at all times...

I forgot to mention I would like to run around 8 psi with a 3.6 pulley.

thanks guys!!!

I would recommend not tuning for meth at all times because if you forget to check the tank 1 time and it runs dry, kapoooeee. I just had my car done and it is setup for WOT but can also be setup to inject all the time or be turned off completely and this car is capable of over 1000hp.

I am in Sinaloa, MX right now and they have 92 Octane here and throughout Sonora and Baja also.

Anyways, tune for gas then you can switch to a more aggresive tune for the track or whenever you spray the meth.

What are you using for tuning? If using EFI Live you can use the E85 PE and timing tables using there COS and just use a toggle switch when you want to use the meth. If using HP Tuner you can use the IAT to add/retard timing when using the meth.

When on the methanol jump up to 10 PSI.

We are getting ready to go to the track as I type. Hoping for 11's all motor and 10's on the spray.

this sounds like a good idea, I'll talk about it with the guy doing the tune...

Are you guys OK with the Premium gasoline in mexico? maybe I'm understimated our gasoline and its really good. We are using HPTuners Pro, and are planning on doing 2 tunes one for regular everyday driving and the other one for the track...

Puro de la Roja(Premium).

The Camaro was running 12.90's with just headers and a tune. Added a ADM cai and went 12.59. Added cam, heads, etc. went 12.09 last Thursday.

Search for some vids I have posted under my screen name.

What part of MX are you from?

Carlos,

I'm putting a meth setup on my car when I do the supercharger, should be another 3 weeks. I'll keep you updated with the progress, but we will be using the Snow Performance Stage 3 setup.

My friend has this setup on his CTSV and it has over 50,000 miles on the setup without any issues.

I live in Monterrey, and the last time I took my car to the track in ran a 12.9x with nothing but a tune, check my vids, ( www.youtube.com/cgarza12 ). I use to have a Charger SRT8 running low 12s with cam and heads, and decided to go with a SC this time.

Where exacly are you from?

This is good to know, I guess I'll ask for the stage 3 kit and please keep me posted on your car.

+10000

Use it as a safety net, but I would not recommend tuning for the meth 100% of the time...

No thats not my car, I bought an edelbrock SC from Stillen. Hopefully I will get it the first week of april, then going to take it to Sean from Top Gear Motorsports in Phoenix. I want to be as close as possible to 600rwhp.

That is my cousin's car and he is running about 14PSI on VP 109 plus a 100 shot of nitrous. Miguel from Guadalajara did the tuning you probably know him.
