just buttoned up the car tonight and tested out the jug. all is good so far. hope to see some of you there! |

Do you think this will be a re-occurring thing in the C5 Maryland community?
I just discovered this post and don't feel 'in the know' enough about track racing to just show up. ...Should I just read the IHRA rule book, or is there a 'short list' of rules? I'm really just curious what my 60' or 1/4 mile time is, not necessarily looking for bragging rights at this point. Thanks!

dont worry about it. with the track rental IHRA rules and NHRA rules do not apply. come out even just to hang out with us and pick our brains about racing. or if you want to run we can teach you what you need to know.
you dont need to be "in the know" to come out and have a good time. |

it was a good day. my car didnt do what i was expecting but it got close to its fastest time on the 100 shot.
best n/a Pass was 11.9, not shabby for 400hp & 3660 lbs best nitrous pass was an 11.05@119, 1.447 60'. ran out of nitrous in my bottle at about 1000' out, it just bogged out. car has run a best of 10.86@125 on its old nitrous kit. i couldnt make any more nitrous passes all day. the nitrous solenoid just didnt want to work, fuel would spray fine and bog the car down. but all in all we had a great time. it was good meetin everyone that we could get to talk to, and see some cars that could really move out. congrats nonvtec on the new best. we saw the run and it looked real good. edit: also pulled the car off the trailer last night. seems my TH400 is one for or at least just my converter.....sounds like i have a damn SC under the car. although driving it up the road it drove fine.didnt seem like it was coming from the motor when i got under the hood. ill know more tomorrow i think. |
