Anyone installed an oil bypass filter?
Saw one of them on a Roush Mustang the other day and talked to the owner a bit out it. Sounds good, but not sure how much need there might be for it?

Are you talking about a oil-air separator or "catch can"? If so, then they are beneficial as they catch any oil blow-by and other stuff and keeps it out of your intake and throttle body.

Nope, but thanks though.
 I am looking for an bypass filter to filter out some of the things the regular filter does not. Almost like a second oil filter but it only processes a fraction of the oil each loop. - SK

I installed one on my last car. Used synthetic oil. At 48,000 without an oil change, the oil was still clear/amber. I'll be installing one on my Camaro very soon.
