Clarksons favorite car is a the ford gt. and in the muscle car episode he loved his ZR1. the guys in top gear are a little biased. but they are the first to be admit wrong when they are surprised by a good car.

His point was that Euros have been using independent suspension all around for years compared to Chevy and Ford's insistense on using fixed rear axels. Even Hammy was excited that the Camaro was using a full independent suspension.

I wouldn't have bought the 5th Gen if they had rolled out the old fixed rear axle yet again.

But I agree with the fact that Clarkson still doesn't let up and puts down the Camaro for no reason.

I think they will bash the camaro for its mild understeer that they will play up and make it seem like the worst they have tested, unless they pull out the lead foot they used for the monaro, and have some fun with it.

They'll probably play it up, if it's Clarkson. He does that with every car he drives. It'll be good in a certain area with a slight flaw, and all of a sudden that flaw is why kittens are killed.

Man there are a LOT of shitty Brittish cars and a bunch mostly made in Germany then shipped to the UK for final assembly and stamped "made in the UK" that they like. and they love to poke fun of the NA built cars. However they do admire the raw power and muscle of the american cars, like when he was taking the Z01 on the track and it was smoking its tires everywhere. He was as giddy as a school girl, talked baout how it was so unpracticle but aslo so damm much fun.

Dont kid yourself, they love em, they just talk smack for there UK audience.

When they compared the ZR1 and the Audi R8 he said the R8 was more refined and faster. Then when the Stig drove them the Vette was quicker. He should stick to the commentary(He is funny) and leave the driving to someone who can. But is fun to watch what he breaks next.

its all good until 4:54 where he starts showing his clear bias 'like an american car' IMO a car is a car and stereotyping is wrong

otherwise

Edit: nvm, hes talking about fast food not the actual car my bad

yeahhh, but i think what he meant was the the R8 could be driven fast by just about anyone, and the ZR1 required stiggy at the wheel. Idr though, its been a while since i saw that one.

levi1922 it was something like that.I think he looked over at James and Richard and said he didn't think any of them could get close to the Stig's Vette time . He did think that they could be fairly close in the R8.
