Good write up. Minor correction, the switch part number is S1067 (an "S" not a 5). I'm going to add one too using a blue LED.

If you don't want to drill the glove box, look on the left hand side. There is a hole in there already. You can fit a 5mm LED holder in there

the only problem is that I forgot to disconnect the battery when i grounded the wire where you said and now I have to take the car to the dealership to fix the service airbag light came on. damn

I have done 2 others for customers and have had no problem.
You sure you did not knock something else lose?
