i decided to go with another place. Alloy Wheel Repair (77ave and 17st)

they are going to paint my rims black. takin them in on Friday

good thing i didnt put the summers on last week when it was nice, judging by the 3-5 cm of snow and ice we got last night

im gonna do the front RS as well, i had 2 sets but i botched to first try so i am waiting on new ones to do the front one.

i also ordered flat black vinyl to go on the CAMARO front fender letters.

aand im painting the stock RS wheels black this week. and then im all set for this summer

Ah,, I said the wrong place, I forgot already where I ordered the RS decals from but I have them here. I ordered the side marker and reverse taillight blackouts from Bigworm. They look soo nice man, I cant wait to get those things on as well.

Hey for your wheels... Since your ride is red, have you considered the red center wheel cap decals? I have a 5pk set of red ones as well and from how this decal looks, it would look tight on black painted rims.

I ordered my red center wheel cap bowties from ridergraphix.

I wanna see like 20-30 photos of those rims after the job is done, I bet its gonna look sick!

Um, I'm not sure if anyone else asked, how much is that paint job gonna set you back?

he is not going to paint the center caps. i have black little chevy decals on the center caps already. the lugs will be silver, center cap silver and chevy symbol black

Um, I'm not sure if anyone else asked, how much is that paint job gonna set you back?

$200 a rim if this is a good deal? but i phoned a few places and the ones that were a little cheaper per rim wouldn't re-mount the tires after, so after i paid for that to be done, it would have been $200 a rim anyway.

Thou from what I hear, most people seem to want to powder coat there rims. I personally havnt seen the two types side by side but I heard powder coating is cheaper and lasts much longer than any paint.

If I woulda still had my Camaro, I would have powder coated the rims and then painted an orange accent line around the rim lip and painted the nuts orange.

But then again paint probally looks better so I dunno lol. Soo many things to do to these cars...

Did you phone all the dealerships? The place I went to on the northside to get my decals and car audio installed, its called showtime. I think they paint rims too but I'm not positive. They had good prices for stereo installations. Maybe try there too.

Oh man I hope soo.. I should be all clear to have Saturday and Sunday off thou I will probally Camp instead of stay in a hotel. I love camping in the rockies and or anywhere near plus I wont have the cash to drop on hotel. This is because I'm driving out to Penticton B.C to hit the beaches the following weekend on vacation for two weeks.
