Congrats Rogue! Hopefully this weather will be gone soon for you to really drive it!

Got back from Phoenix yesterday, had a good time.

I've more than doubled my mileage in the last 3 weeks,
But loved every minute of it!

Averaged 24mpg, with an average speed ~10 over the speed limit (whether that would be 65mph or 90mph).
That included driving around downtown Phoenix, rush hour there,
parked, sight seeing, climbing 3,000 feet, dropping 3,000 feet, spouts of WOT to pass people, etc...

Props to the Camaro team!

Radar detector did come in handy a couple of times...

I'm down with a weekend excursion to the south!
I'm planning a large trip, down to San Diego, then up the coast, probably up to northern Oregon, then back home.

Here are a couple shots from around Lake Powell (including my new Heritage grill):

Anyone tried out the launch control? What does the rpm's stop at and do you just stomp on the gas?

Even though i've been spacing this websit and not posting much if i'm still welcome i would love a weekend trip.

I still feel bad i couldn't stick around at the expo and say high to everyone. Mainly Sheslc4 and Gem. Sorry i didn't come say hi. I had My 8 year old brother with me and my friend who were dying from sitting in the meeting. Even though i was rivited. ha ha. My little brother thought it was cool that when we went out to the car, there were 3 other Camaro's parked by mine. ha ha.

Yes I tried it. Seemed to stop right around 4200-4500. Dumped the clutch and away I went merging on the on the interstate at about 110. The only thing I did not like was the right rear did some wheel hopping at the start.

Congrats Rogue let the fun begin.

We've got some great suspension solutions that will knock the wheel hop right out of your Camaro! Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions!

Kind regards,

I am bad at getting on it when taking off from a stop light lol... I level it out at the speed limit then cruise lol... lead foot you might call it. hahahahah
The Camaro's have a serious amount of deflection in the rear sub frame bushings, rear differential and control arms. You can help reduce the wheel hop by installing sub frame inserts from Pedders which minimize unwanted movement and it doesn't affect the ride quality. The next step would be the control arm bushings and differential bushings. Basically what's happening is the tire has grip and looses it, then it gets traction and looses it again. This causes the powertrain and suspension to load and unload which gives you the sensation of wheel hop. It is actually very common on the Vette's as well and it can cause breakage.

We've got some great packages and we'll be offering discounted installation as well. I also like the Pedders drop springs, they increase the spring rate a small percentage which also helps to tighten things up and because Pedders isn't too aggressive with lowering your struts will have the potential to last much longer. If anyone is interested in pricing let me know! We've got the solutions to make these cars handle!

Kind regards,

Lightning is still in the hospital. They had to take the driver's side door panel off for some reason, I don't know why, there was no damage there. When they did they broke some little plastic part that connects a cable to the door release mechanism. Of course there wasn't one to be had in Utah so they have to fly one in. When I talked to them yesterday it wasn't here yet. Also they have to replace the custom stripe on the rear quarter panel driver's side. As of yesterday late that wasn't done yet either. I've got an accessory coming in that I paid for last October. It might be here before the car is out of the hospital. Me sad. :(

Here's a quick and dirty clip of the new exhaust!

Had the Solo Performance Mach-X catback installed. My sales rep got the service dept to install it for 70 bucks, so I just went through them to get it done. Lots of black smoke, likely since I just barely got it home

Is that smoke normal?
GEM, that smoke is a special effect just for the video.

Yeah, special effect to make it seem more evil...

I think it's just any dirt/oil left in the metal from delivery/install. I'll give it a good hundred miles or so and do another video - should be gone by then.
