I got mine from HottExhaust.com for around $850 shipped, but it's been a few months, doubt that special is still good.

the exhaust sounds great, much deeper and louder than stock. Has a great rumble at idle and at WOT is devilish, especially combined with the K&N intake. It rattles the windows around the front door of my house when it's in the carport. Around 75 mph does get a little annoying on a long trip and you'll always have some decel popping. But you'll get that with any straight-through design. The polished stainless mufflers look good and the 4" tips are nice. The stock mufflers are hideous.

you'll be happy with the magnaflow 3" competition series cat-back. It definitely gets people's attention. The SS needed that sound to go with its great look and it delivers.

Yes. I think I can handle this one. I'm not so sure about the Hurst shifter that is supposed to get here on Thursday though.

Opinions of people that have this exhaust with long tubes please... is it too quiet? I'm stuck between this and ARH headers or a stainless works aggressive with their headers... I know the stainless will be louder, but I can get a nice deal on the magnaflow/arh combo...

I don't want to make a new exhaust thread, I hate them just like everyone else haha.

I think this system should be plenty loud for most folks. Any louder and you might draw more attention than you want. It also has a nice burble when you get out of the throttle. This is my third Magnaflow. I had one on a 69 Camaro with a 454 and one in my 2004 SVT Cobra. You can't beat the quality. Bob

Mine's a 2.5" custom set-up similar to the 16483...it's got a pretty good, loud, deep tone to it and no drone!!! Gave me an extra 10rwhp...here's a video clip of it on the dyno (use earphones if you have any to get better sound):

Get some electric cut-outs if you want LOUD...
I had then on my twin turbo Cobra...talk about retarded loud!! Sounded like a top fuel dragster at WOT...
Nice thing is you can close them and have a fairly quite exhaust, stealth mode or open them and be as loud as possible.
I used to love to pull up from the pits with them closed then open them right before I did my burn out...talk about getting some strange looks lol.
