Above a 2LT (but with Cloth), below a 1SS, price-wi$e... ...and then YES, there'd be some serious V6 demand...with a serious V6... |

I dont know youre still limited with the v6. Even if this twin turbo model got them up close to 400 HP I wouldnt be interested. It would be pretty well maxed out there with out spending some serious dough.

Theres only a 2 grand difference in price at the most. If it were me, I'd just buy an SS.

![]() Sorry, I just don't see that... name one engine from the manufacture that is "maxed out"... sorry Turbo Engines are easy to add more power too, if you know what you’re doing... start off with ECU, exhaust, intake... bet this puppy would respond very well. |

Factory turbo motors take to very little modification very well! A good tune aand a few minor bolt ons usually produces great gains and still amazing reliability. Look at GM's LNF 2.0L Direct Injection Turbo 4cyl for an example. A good tune can net 40-55whp and a couple thousand bucks worth of bolt ons and 350-375whp is possible. Then take the same type of design such as Direct Injection and add 1.0L and 2 cyclinders and another Turbo and suddenly 400whp doesn't seem very maxxed out at all. Infact, it seems conservative for a bolt on and tuned v6tt. |

Agree with two post above this one - plus add bigger turbos and the HP output could easily match the LS3 and exceed the L99 engine.
Or exceed both...who knows |

Im not saying fully maxed out, obviously there are going to be some things that can be done but no way are you going to have nearly the flexibility you have with the LS3 or L99 that is half of the appeal of a v8 for me anyway.

I doubt severely this engine will become a V6 option in the Camaro. If it ever does, it'll be after the L99 and LS3 get direct injection. That being said I doubt the V8's will get DI before the next generation of high horsepower, small displacement V8's appear and make the L99 and LS3 obsolete.
As long as the L99 and LS3 remain unmodified or in the Camaro, dont expect a TT V6 in a sub SS trim. I *could* see it however someday becoming a V6 option in the Cruze SS. |
