? The fastback still has the hips!! Look at the picture of the corvette on page 2 - I'm thinking a fastback similar to it, or how the roofline of the current camaro goes inward at the sides to allow the hips to flare out. That style still applies in my concept.

I guess I would have to see it from a diffrent angle.

I can see were your comming from, but I can't help but think of a Supra back end

I'm thinking from behind view, the sides of the back of the roof will curve toward the centre just like it does today, so there won't make much difference in the rear appearance of the roof. Check out the blue Camaro above as an example.

I would say MOST of the world's most beautiful cars did not have a sticking out trunk out the back. A sticking-out trunk is the mark of a "sedan", not a sports car.

Examples: Porsche 911, Porsche GT, any Lamborghini, 95% of Ferraris, AR 8C, Lotus (any), Audi R8, any modern Aston Martin, Corvettes; did I miss any?
Never really thought of those cars as a "Fastback". I have owend a '76 Type LT, '78 Firebird Esprit, and two '77 Camaros. They all have the same slope in the back. Never have I heard them referred to as a "Fastback" until today.

BTW nice blue Firebird.

I just noticed its an Esprit too. Very nice!
