Ah I see. I'm almost out of my current tank, so I think I'll fill her up all the way with 87, reset my fuel counter, and see what I get while driving very conservatively. Then I'll fill up entirely on 93, reset again and see if I get any changes. Will let you guys know what I find.

I think the fuse pull it to make the computer adjust immediately. I think it should change on its own after some time.
I see no difference with or without airaid. I get 16-17 with it, and 16-17 with the stock box (mostly urban driving). I've swapped back and forth after 1500 miles just to test, didn't see any mpg change.

Well as I said I just wanted to report my findings. I would like to know if others get the same results.

It is so someones your personal results that drive a person to determine whether something works or not

on my return trip this weekend i noticed 25.4 average MPG from Des Moines, Iowa to Omaha Nebraska it's about `160 miles with some small hills. Mines a M6 also the other day i gave her a bath and installed some AMSoil so... that could be part of it a new oil change but over the same distance last week i got maybe 23.6 or so same trip before oil change. Engine does feel smoother now with the full Synthetic though
Edit: Forgot to mention that i reset the computer when i got onto the interstate cruising speed of 74. Also i run 89 octane usually cuz... it's a good bit cheaper here sometimes by 10 cents or more

of course 93 octane will give you better gas mileage, higher octane actually burns cleaner and slower in terms of the fume consumption with DI. As for the lower mileage with the LT than the SS, it's quite possible you have a LOT less hwy driving and much more city driving. Hills, traffic lights, stop signs, etc will always kill your gas mileage to the max.

I run 93 octane and I avg about 23mpg City and 26.4 highway. Once I learned of Sport mode many Des Moines Iowans have been getting left at the line : )
