those were done with security systems that were not equipped with the safe mode that is available now.

wow... why did you get stick if your to lazy to start the car... whats next install remote steering and braking.

... when i start my car it returns the favor and starts me...lol

...and you're too lazy to use your Shift key.

Remote starting is not about being lazy. It's about getting in and driving away without having to baby the engine because you didn't let it idle for a few seconds first. It's about not getting into a 200°F car in the summer or a 7°F car in the winter.

Do you unlock your car doors with the key, or do you use your remote?

Nope, you are correct. It does need your fob to work.

Ive installed compustar for a few years and the manual feature is great. I had one lady smart enough to reach in thru a open window, move that stick shaped thingy out of the way, and grab something. Needless to say you know how that ended.

Surprised i was never called by her insurance co

wow you guys are soft... just messing around, but really auto start on a stick shift.. i love to start me car cold or hot... hear the exhaust pop, etc etc.
