I use both, and really enjoy the outcome of both.

i can't decide between the 2!

i'm new to the car detailing topic, i'm only 23 and the camaro is the 1st car of mine that needs proper care to the paint. my only other car is an old beat up truck with peeling paint that i only use to get to work on rainy days and hauling my jet ski.

i've NEVER used a machine buffer, mainly because i'm hesitant to use it around the vinyl stripes. if you Adams or Zaino guys have any insight to work around those with a buffer, please

that being said I will wait to get the PC until i am skilled enough at applying this stuff by hand.

those Adam's hex grip pads look awesome! will they work well with another product brand?

awhile back i bought a bunch of Meguiar's product since it was easy to purchase in the store, but once my current bottles are out (1 or 2 more details) i want to switch to either Zaino or Adams.

the Zaino system seems kinda confusing to me... they don't use a wax, and you have to put multiple coats of each product. the Adams products, well, look like the typical system of clay, swirl remover, polish, then wax; which i am used to already.

i have minor swirls on the rear of the car, bought Meguiar's SwirlX and applied it by hand; didn't work. i have not clayed the car yet... do you guys think by claying it, removing the swirls with my current product by hand will be more effective?

With this statement I would go with Adam's, granted you can try to get the swirls out with the Fusion PC from Zaino, but I think the Adam's stuff would be easier in the long run for you based on your comments. As you have more pro's for Adam's than you do with Zaino.

Also for the stripes if you are hesitant you can always mask them with painters tape or the green 3m tape. Nothing like getting the look of your neighbors when you tape your car off.

You are making this harder than it is. Zaino products are not confusing, but the way they describe using them can be a little . You do want to put a couple coats of Z-2 on it, after you clay it. Then if you want to go a little farther, go with some Clean Polisher or Gloss Enhancer. Adams has the same stuff, different names. If you want to keep going farther into it...you can apply some Finale Spray.

But the most important thing you want to do is clay it and polish it. All nicely done by hand and you will feel great. Going beyond that with additional product isn't a must, but the results are just more enhancing and can been seen when you stand back from the car. If this is your first car.. sure, get the products, be proud of your ride and spend some time babying it. You will enjoy the looks and compliments from your hard work.

Sounds like you have a perfect practice vehicle you drive every day. If you can make that truck "pop", you'll have more confidence with the Camaro. My .02

If you decide on Zaino, let me know, and I'll be happy to walk you through the process.

It honestly is very easy to use.

They are both very good products, IMO. Both fairly easy to use. I have never used either before the Camaro. I bought ALL the Zaino products and really like the result. After reading about the Zaino scratch/swirl product, I found that it was a filler and would get most swirls out, over time. Not that it's bad, but Adams doesn't fill. It's Swirl & haze remover, again, IMO, do a much better job. Now, I'm using them both...just got Adam's black wax and will try that next. I've been using my Porter Cable on all the Adam's stuff. Even tried it with Zaino - I like that too!

I don't think you can go wrong with either!
