More Petro's will start carrying 94, as Sunoco's are going to start disappearing, if the Petro take over has it's way. Petro bought out Suncor, and they want to convert and/or close the Sunoco's. There's a ruling coming down in April of this year I believe, but how long after that decision will the Sunoco's dissapper is anyones guess.

Yep - That's what their press release says. To be honest I'm a bit surprised they are doing a full fledged conversion. Consumer retail brands have significant value in the fuel-oil industry. I would have thought that they would retain the sunoco brand up here. Particularly in locations where they 2 brands previously competed in close proximity. For example, here in Mississauga there is now a corner with a Petro-Canada on both the north-east side and the south-west. The good news is the Petro-Canada car wash season's pass will now work at my fav sunoco wash (once they convert).

Suncor purchased PetroCan last year. Under the government competition ruleling some stations had to be sold and many are being rebranded.

It will be nice to get 94 at a PetroCan though.

Don't worry Dennis - you are the only one I know putting mustang emblems and a fart can muffler on their camaro.

Well...I'm bummed.

Wednesday at 5:00 PM I get a call from my salesman. "It's in." he says and gives me the VIN #. So thursday morning I drop by the Dealership to finalize the bill of sale and take a quick look. They tell me it hasn't been cleaned up yet but it can be ready for friday. I get the key and go to take a look while he gets the paperwork started.

It's not the car we ordered. They made a mistake (they admitted later) when placing the order. No RS package. My paperwork clearly shows that option ordered and in the price. Every thing else is right, but without the HIDs it's not the car we wanted. To be honest, I can't understand why they would have a 2SS even possible without the RS package. I've never even seen a non RS. The brochure I have doesn't even show a non RS from the front. The HID lights are iconic 2010 Camaro. I would have thought that an order for the top level trim and engine without the RS option would raise a flag. There can't be many ordered like that.

Anyway, they admitted it's their mistake and offered 4 solutions. 1. refund deposit. 2. re-order(they have allotment) 3. accept the vehicle with a discount. 4. try to locate a similar package nearby.

We decided to re-order. I asked for, and received, a further price break on the new one as compensation. So, now it's the waiting game again.

All this to say that we won't be able to come along for the ride on the 10th. Hopefully there is something similar in May or June and we can hook up with you guys then.

If anyone is looking for a 2SS CGM/IOM nonRS 6M with polished wheels, there is one at Bill Osborne Chevrolet in Kemptville. They also have a RJT 1ss automatic and a yellow V6.

Ripcard, I'd start calling around to different dealerships. They are starting to get swamped with cars now that the nice weather is here. You can probably find what you want.
Post up what options you ordered, and one of the forum members can probably help you find one near by.
