Everyone that rides with me asks how come I am not even going the speedlimit. I tell them how fast we are going and they always have to look at the speedo to see. They never believe me.

I have to use the cruise control everywhere I go to keep from speeding. The first night I got the car I took her way up past 100, when I told the wife how fast we had just gone she had no idea. These babies are smooth and quiet....

i know the feeling. my dad just bought a new chrysler town and country and you don't know how fast you are really going until you look at the speedo! i guess that's just the way it is with new cars!

I drove 200 miles to get my Camaro last week. On the way home my son (14 yrs old) & I were on an interstate, speed limit 70, & he asks why we were going slow. I told him to look at the speedo.....We were going 87 !!! He just said WOW

same here! the speed warning feature is relatively useful since it cruises up so smoothly "ding ding ding"

I have the same problem, but it's more so because I just listen to my engine as I shift and really don't pay attention to the speedo until i notice I'm going fast enough that I could loose my lisence if I met an officer in a bad mood

agreed. Took some buddies out for a ride saturday and i'm like "why the hell is everyone going so slow?" look down .... oh haha

but it is fun when you tell the passengers how fast your going and they get excited haha It's not so much about the top speed either, it's how fast you get there. I like to have them take note of the speed on say a highway on-ramp.

me - "see the speedo? 45 km/hr right?"
passenger - " Yep"
*punch it in 2nd, 1...2...3.... shift to 3rd*
me - "and that's 145"

passenger - "F**k you" (usually with a big smile) haha
