I should have some time to work on the car this week (I hope!). My painted Heritage grille from Gary's Customs should be here this week, as well as the remaining Pedders parts from Rob at Wretched Motorsports. I bought the differential bushing removal tool from Cincy Speed, that should be here this week too. Now I can install the Pfadt diff bushings and the job should be a lot easier! I'll post up this week as work progresses...

After removing the radius rods, it's time to get the bushings out. I pressed the center portion of the stock bushing out first. It's fluid filled, so it's pretty messy. Once it pops free of the shell, the fluid leaks out (maybe 2 or 3 ounces worth).

After that, I used my sawsall and cut almost all the way through the stock shell in two places. Then, using a hammer and chisel I peeled the slice out of the shell. The remaining part of the shell comes right out.

The new Pedders bushing can then be pressed in. To make thing a little easier, I put the bushings in the freezer for about an hour, and heated the radius rod eye with a propane torch for 4 or 5 minutes. After all that, it was still a pretty tight fit!

Things are coming along nicely so far this week. I'm feeling the deadline of the Camaro5 fest coming!! Pfadt rear subframe bushings are in the cradle, front brakes are done with Racing Brake rotors and pads. KW Varient 3 coilovers are in too. Heritage grille is in.
More to come with pics this week... Frank

Rear suspension cradle is back in with Pfadt diff bushings installed, BMR toe rods in, powder coated calipers on, and Spohn lower control arms being installed. Brakes are bled, and I should finish up the rear suspension this weekend. With luck, I should be driving it next week!

The 7.6 chatters a bit on engagement. I seem to need to give it a little more gas and slip it a little more starting off than the stocker. So I guess you could say it's a little noisier than the stock clutch was. If I had it to do over, I might try the ZR1 clutch Lingenfelter sells. But, it wasn't out yet when I put the Fidanza in.
