THERE ARE CURRENTLY 2 DEALERS OFFERING NEW CAMAROS ON EBAY- CHECK THEM OUT. I CANT UNDERSTAND HOW THE TEXAS DEALER EXPECTS TO SELL THEIR ONE ALLOCATED CAMARO OVER MSRP, LIKE THERE DOING SOMEONE A FAVOR !. MY LOCAL DEALER ADVISED THEY ARE NOT GOING TO CHARGE OVER GM RETAIL.

My dealer assured me that they wont go a penny below or above MSRP! So here in Canada that would be about $40K over the MSRP in the states. WTF!! Its being built here!!!! We're being bent over and raped! Time for consumer war!! LOL!

there is one on ebay now that is legit. they are selling the #3 camaro made. ...only because i bought 1 and 2.

I heard they auctioned off the first ZR1 for charity and it went for over $1 million! Supposedly the guy that bot it originally, bot it at the auction so no one else could claim the 1st one. Apparently he/she had the $$$ and just wanted to give it to charity.

also meant he could write off 1million dollars to charity on his taxes while getting a kickass car in return.

The guy who bought the ZR1 was the same guy who bought 1953 Corvette serial number 003 for a million dollars at a previous Barrett-Jackson auction. If you doubt the significance of this car think of it like this: This is the top Corvette performance model ever and it will probably mark the end of the current horsepower wars now that 35mpg CAFE is to be phased in between 2012 and 2020. This is the equivalent of the high compression big block Corvettes made in the late 60's just before CAFE and emissions legislation killed the first musclcar era.
