Hi Becky--

I ordered a 2SS, NVJCX6, which was submitted to GM and accepted on 2/26/10. As of today the status is still at 1100. Shouldn't it be farther along in the process by now?! The dealer claims that there should be no problems with allocations, and is also puzzled by the 'stalemate'. They have not been able to get this order progressing. Is it normal to sometimes take this long to start moving along? Or should I start worrying? Is there a way to know if your dealer is being honest about allocations?

BonSid, no problem. I got the info from Becky when I stalled out at 1100.

The problem I had with mine was that my dealer "assumed" GM would pick up the order, just like any other car. However, had I not contacted the dealer and brought it to their attention that they needed to "physically place" the order for my Camaro, I would still be sitting at 1100 status today. My problem was just a misunderstanding between my dealer & GM because my dealer did have "allocation" for my Camaro.

Give your dealer a chance. Try to find out if they do in fact have the allocation for your Camaro. If not....by all means call, Becky.
