The fact that they are waiting for allocation from GM is the hold up. It may or may not come. It's not your dealers fault and it's not GM's. The bigger
allocations go to the bigger dealers. Keep an eye on it as it's closing in on the end of the model year. Good Luck.

Ok. Status 3000 is officially worse than status 1100. Anyone have a direct line to production control in Canada? Order NWBJFJ is stuck there!

3000 is now officially the new "Limbo"

Give it another week or so with
your TPW 4/19/10 it'll change as it gets closer to that week.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday about the possibility of his having an allocation issue and he told me that was bull, he said there was no such thing as allocation. Is there any way to find out what my dealer's allocation is and how long it will really hold up my order? I found my exact car at a dealer in Indiana and would love to just cancel my order and get a dealer to buy it from Indiana, but I no longer trust my current dealer. He also tried to feed me some crap about how cars are ordered in batches and made in batches...I watched the Camaro Production Facility video and know that each car can be made individually to order, even down to painting a red car and a yellow car within feet of each other. Dealer originally said 4-6 weeks to get the car, it's been 3 and the order hasn't even gotten past the allocation stage, now the dealer is saying 6-8 weeks or possibly more...this chain jerking is really hurting my neck. I think my dealer's allocation may be really low like 2 every 6 months. Small town in Northern Michigan and you know with 17% unemployment the dealer's not selling much of anything. Any help or advice you could give would be appreciated. Thanks.

Allocation is not bull and I think you know better than that. I believe your dealer just doesn't have much and so the order sits. It's up to you what your next move may be. Good Luck.
