I would recommend the leaders of each group get together via PM and start a new thread, one group after another, so the first page is nothing but routes and stops for each group. If any of the leaders would like help with routing, PM me and I'll be glad to give you a hand.

They know, but if you call, you could give the general manager a heads-up on time and approx. number of cars stopping in.

The Texas groups will be going thru Mobile also.
I think my group is pretty much up to speed. I will be sending out PMs so we should be fine. Hell, most of my route is jsut 75 south!

Jason, The Chicago Group is ready for this trip! I have your cell phone # and will call you when we leave the Fair Oaks Farms, IN location and head to meet you south of Cincinnati. We will have 2 way radios and will be using channel five (5) while on our trip south. Travel Safely!

Hey, Mister! Do you have a mile marker on that Beaverdam rest stop? I've got one car to meet there so far!

Radios

jr,

I will bring all my radios (motorola's) and I think I have 6 or so. Do you want to put a call out for the cinci crew and decide on a channel for us or is the whole caravan going to be on 5?

Don't forget to sync your "interference eliminator" channel if you have that on your radios (if someone doesn't have this feature, the default is "0"). Otherwise you'll be talkin' to dead air..... hello....hello.... Bueller?

I sure do Candy... uhh Cyn... it's mile marker 135, west side of the interstate. I checked the pumps at the Flying J awhile back, they sell 92 octane, don't know about the Pilot. Both are real clean.

Speaking of gas, it'll probably be expensive, but the track sells hi octanes, and it's a good idea to roll in with minimal gas to keep your weight down if you're gonna race

I would but I'm afraid that it won't make it all the way down to GA.
