For some reason I dont think you will need a lot of help, if you can hook up those gears ought to give you the lead.

These gauges are unreal the will plug right into the computer under the dash. They tell you anything you want to know and even will tell you your 1/4 mile time.

Those gauges look awesome!! Thanks alot - now I may have to add this to the list later this year.
I would get some they tell you hp,tq, cat temps, cai temp, fuel rail pressure, time between shifts.... loads more. They only took about 20 minutes to hook up. You know to go 60 mph it only takes about 25-35 hp once the car is already rolling. If you get check engine lights it tells you the code and will erase it if you wish. My A6 was shifting consistantly at 6750 rpms the gauges give you a nice digital read out. Well worth the money.

2010, that was funny!

Here's a couple more ideas..

You could install a remote KILL switch on RS's car.. when he gets ahead you shut his car off remotely.. YOU WIN!

You could go to a local speed shop.. get a 100 shot of NOS and have them install it in your car.. push button WIN! (not recommended.. this one probably voids LPE's warranty)

I like this one..
Send your car back to LPE for the "floor mat upgrade" and secretly have the 750 or 850 kit installed...

Buy another yellow bumblebee painted the same way with the same tires as RS's. hide his car and let him drive the clone. You could be real MEAN and buy a lt and put the V-8 nose on it and tell RS he must have lost a cylinder. Make sure you superglue the hood latch so it doesn't open..

I don't think you will have any trouble with the gears that you have it should be no problem for you. Try running out on a smooth country road a few times and practice when he doesnt know. Just remember don't let off the gas until you hit 130 then you know you have run a 1/4 mile!

Got an update from my friend that picked up his C6 vette at the same auto body shop my car is at today.

My car is now re-assembled. Hood, front spoiler, and rear spoiler were primed today. Those parts get a light wet sand tomorrow, and then it's RJT paint time for the outside of the car. Not sure when they paint the outside.. weather it's tomorrow, or Friday.

He said it looks real good. Body seams and panels are aligned and everything is mounted except the rear spoiler. Front chin spoiler is cut and bonded (needed to be slightly modified as it was about 1/4" longer than it needed to be , probably for clearance to fit most cars) and there is no visable seam - looks like it was there from factory. He was very happy with the results. If my close friend was satisfied, I will be thrilled! He is a picky person when it comes to auto body work.

Still have stripes, the LPE logo painted onto the hood, and a final clear coat after the red is complete.

On a serious note..
I agree with Paul. with the different rear end gear set, all else being equal, you should be faster.

Remove everything you can that is not needed. Weight is your biggest enemy.

Clean everything out of the trunk so you can see the battery. You can drop 10 lbs by removing the spare tire kit, trunk mat, and fiberglass cover.

Paul - I'm LOVING those gauges. Thanks, in addition to gears, my future mod list just got deeper

2010 - With your 3.70 gear and I seem to remember you having about 8-10 more HP, you'll be in good shape. If nothing else, toss a few 100 lb bags of sand in RS's trunk when he's not looking ... nothing like "sandbagging"!

Blue - got some final numbers yet? You have to be aching with anticipation of getting your beautiful baby back home!!

My car is finished at LPE. Now just waiting for the transport company to pick it up. The waiting is killing me it's 80 degrees here in Miami I'm ready to lay down some rubber in front of my house.

Hey hey hey no more tips for 2010 she already has the gears, 65 lbs less body weight and lowered for less wind resistance. I think I may have to just break out to get a good head start.

raulss, Congrats. It wont be long now before you are enjoying all that power.
Are your stripes painted on now in matte black?

Paul, thanks for all the info on the gauges, looks like a very nice set up. Is the gauge kit a complete plug and go system. I read on another thread that wires have to be routed elsewhere for certain other functions?

Darren The gauge kit is a complete kit but you have to get the pod pillar from Fesler. They do plug right into the main plug under the dash the one that is used to program your computer. Everything works except for the boost, you do need an additional plug or something to measure the boost from the supercharger.

Raul, your car looks great! I'm leaning towards mat black stripes also. Are yours painted now? I'm meeting with the painter tomorrow to go over the layout. Soon it will burn rubber time for you.

Thanks for all the tips guys! One more question for all you experienced racers. What tire pressure would you run in the rear nitto 555R's.
