2SS=leather=ambient lighting package included. Will be blue unless you get the Inferno Orange interior package, then the lighting will be orange also.

the box actually gives the car a different sound out of the exhaust by changing the air box???

That would be sweet although I know this car is going to sound "very nice"

No, not the exhaust- under the hood. I can open the driver window on the GTO and here it suck in all that wonderful oxygen...

For me it was wherever I first saw the poll. I answered at CamaroZ28.com before I saw the poll here because the new post email came from there before camaro5.com's daily summary. If I'd have received my daily report of new posts for this forum first, I would have answered here first.

You do know, it's not a competition between web sites. We're all in this hobby together and have the same interest at heart...enthusiasm for the Camaro.

I agree with you. It's just that I think there is a perception that more serious 5th gen enthuisiasts belong to another site. This poll proves that the serious one's call Camaro5 home base!

Anybody have photos of the grey stripes? I'm interested in ordering, but I have no idea how it looks, especially on a silver backdrop.

March '09 can't come here any sooner!

Please visit our Camaro Photoshops subforums and you'll see tons of stripe/color combinations -- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41

Specifically, here is the silver camaro photoshops thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8427

Hope that helps

I don't mean to knock those to whom this is a legitimate concern but I really don't understand and there is no need to get into it on this thread.
Are you thinking the summer tires will not wear out as well????? The 19" will be all season and very nice and I can live without $1200 headlights.

I am actually concerned about this.
I ordered a 2SS/RS (with the dealer to paint SS stripes, do the regular bolt on stuff, cat backs, headers, cold air, etc.) before I pick it up.
I wanted to SC it in a year or two. But if there was a Z-28 super charged, I would pay the extra $10k for that model. Its done, done right, all chevy, built by the factory.
If my 2SS comes in next fall(?), and the Z-28 has published release date, I will ask (beg) the dealer to move my downpayment over the the Z-28 (and then happily wait about another year).

All this is contingent on the retro lines of the Z-28 being very similar to the SS. The retro lines sold me. 400+ HP is just icing on the cake

Is there a big difference between the RS and SS look on the outside? All I have seen is one version. Please explain the 2SS/RS version so many are ordering. I don't want to get my 2SS and find it doesn't look as I expected.

Boston accustics upgrade
Hurst shifter

Headers/low restriction air intake/ catback system/gauge package under discussion. I need the LPO numbers for my Dealer.

All at MSRP pricing.
This will look good next to my 1968 rs/ss 396 Conv.
Finally after all these years I get mine.......

Tran, you're the best! I ordered a silver ss2 on Sunday. I'm interested in adding either the double grey or double black stripes along the hood and rear deck, but the dealer wasn't sure what option box that would be or what the rendering would be. I'm not really interested in the hockey stick stripes on teh side.

If I'm looking for either the black or grey, are both a factory option or dealer-installed option? Also, do you know if the stripes will be painted, and will they extend past the hood line up front?

Thanks again!
