Wow this car is fun to drive - lots of snakes around here today.

Blue, great pictures! I like the polished tube, and the Lingenfelter on the dash. I have to ask, what is the toggle switch by the ignition for?
Glad you got to have some fun yesterday in spite of the weather. Today should be better weather, you might have to play hookey. Congrats! Now enjoy.

So my boost just goes up to 5 psi and stops there. He said that he could change the MAP sensor to a higher range one, but then he would have to retune the car since it would throw off everything. So I'll just have to wait until I do some more mods and need a new tune anyways and I'll change it then.
mtcwby I am going to get this figured out with the help of Lingenfelter when I do I will let you know.

Hey guys thanks for the compliments. Those are the factory black stripes I had Jeff install those Lingenfelter stickers.

Hey Raul have you ever been to the Tower Shops in Davie on Friday nights. They get over 300 cars on average with good weather. Just a lot of cool cars hanging out from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. After you get your car, bring it up to I-595 and University Drive and let everyone get a look at the new car. PM me if you need more info.
Hey Jedi I have been to the Tower Shops plenty of times before I will let you know when I take my new ride.

ROCKET LAUNCHER! Boost Gauge switches over to Fuel Pressure gauge. I may change it from ADM's switch to a nice looking black w/blue LED when I do my footwell lighting install. I told Ryan I was having an issue with wheel slippage, he said contact him if I figure out the solution!

A good friend of mine made this glass case for my 50th... I added the LPE

Windy, i too have a L99 going to LPE. I cant decide to go with a new converter or not. Everyone is telling me that the blown L99's put out a lot of tq in first and second gear that i wouldnt need it. (wheelspin would be a concern is what i keep hearing).

Any advise?
I also bought the Hoschkis track pack so i think that will help keep the wheels (305's or 315's) on the ground.
Also thinking about 3:73's.

Any advise would be appreciated

Pictures from this morning...!!! Car was painted yesterday afternoon.

Car is now red (RJT)! Color matched perfectly.. Mike definitely knows how to use a paint gun. He did blend the color into the doors. You would never know car was painted.. it looks better than factory!

I am VERY HAPPY right now.. Paint work came out awesome!

Monday is prep for the stripes.
White pearl stripes and Black Gold Pearl Lingenfelter decal are being applied on Tuesday, followed by a few coats of clear.

bws I had an L99 that we converted into an LS3+. My trans was sent to RPM and I kept the stock torque converter. I have plenty of torque in every gear and wheel spin is not really a major issue for me. I went with the Hotchkis sway bars, chassis brace and Pedders Xa Coilovers. I also went with the upgraded rear end with 3.70 gears(this is a must). The tires are Nitto 555 305s Extreme Drag and they really hook up awesome. Of course if I just put the pedal to the metal from a dead stop then I will get no traction. It is very easy to find the sweet spot where she hooks and books. There is a little piece in this youtube video where I took off with hardly any wheel spin check it out @

Paul - Love the video!! Man that looks and sounds good.

570 - You should have the Red Devil out and ripping it up before you know it. The finished product will look amazing!!

I got a chance to ride in a ZO6 around a 2.2 mile road course today and my god what a beast of a car. The guy I was riding with had stock tires on (that were almost bald) but knew how to drive. We passed GTR's, Porsche 911 GT3 RS with DOT tires and everything else. Going 145mph on the straight to 60mph in the first corner for the first time was crazy---it was amazing!! I can't wait to get back and take my car out to the track and start learning the car and the track. I am sure the Pedder's suspension stuff will make it a lot more fun also
