Yes the control will switch thru presets that are programmed in. Saving41 thanks for letting us know you got yours done hey at least it worked for one other person. Thats 2 of us, another 1ss still curios to see it work for an ls??

My LS goes in Monday (They didn't want to do it On a friday LOL). I will post monday with my results. Hoping it goes great!

Techsupport - probably already asked, but I did'nt see it.
With this install - the radio control switching on the steering wheel - I will get all the features except bluetooth control, correct ? The switch willm allow me to change source, and control volume, but will it also allow me to use the On Star from the wheel ? I buy minutes form teh On Star phone system and each of those calls are initiated by the On Star button on the mirror. Is that controllable from this switch on the wheel ?

Also, I saw where the bluetooth capability is not on the 1SS and LS, but it is on a 1LT ? If I install the PDIM and USB and have that programmed, does that give me bluetooth to pair with a phone ?

Thanks.

The PDIM adds the USB and Bluetooth audio streaming for music. It does not add Bluetooth for pairing a phone to make a call.

slick rick is right no bluetooth phone that requires onstar module swap. Yes you can use switch to make onstar calls just hit button and it says ready just like you hit it on your mirror.

Why is the pdim listed as part #92244580 when you list it as 92213213??
not sure which to order.

The part number 92244580 was what i ordered for my car it came with the usb port, pdim, wiring harness, and instructions on install

Yep, just a BCM Program (since I installed my own leather wheel I got from EBay).

Apparently the LS has all the wiring necessary. (just add the switches, and harness in the wheel).
