Paul, Looks like a very nice trailer.
How long is it? looks like 28 feet..? Did you ask the person you got it from what it weighs? All fitted up, I would guess 5200 lbs.. Your truck should be able to tow it OK with the car loaded in it. Duramax + allison (5 speed, I believe) is a pretty strong combo. I know my 1/2 ton silverado wouldn't pull my trailer with a load in it.. it had the 5.3 Liter gas engine with a 4 speed. The new Dually truck will tow whatever I want it to pull.. I just need to feed it lots of Gas. |

Hey guys another question for ya......... if i run 305's on the rear with either a 19 or 20inch, what do you suggest i put on the front?
Also i would like to protect the lip of the rim from curb-rash, but don't wanna push it....... should i go with 10" on the rear or be safe and stay with 11" width? Thanks again fella's!! Windy, i did email John at CCW. I have to email right now because im in Afghanistan designing more features on my car. It's ironic because the last time i was here... i was designing the car from the factory and a local shop. Gotta have a hobby right... Cant ever have to much when it comes to these cars! Thanks again for all the good info Last edited by se7en; 04-07-2010 at 12:34 AM. Reason: Mispelling |

BWS, you want the tires to have the same diameter if possible so as not to upset the stabilitrack. I don't know how far off the diameter can be from front to back.
I did it the easy way and matched the front's and the backs to be the same size tire. I am primarily Autocrossing and will run some road courses with my car, occasionally drag racing. |

That is a nice looking front end Paul. I'm sticking with my new parts though... Paint isn't even dry yet! ![]() Stripes were painted on my car last night. Lingenfelter logo will be painted this morning. Clear coat this afternoon. |

Here is what John fixed me up with for the street: W1004B 20X10 LWR.300 505T 6.75 BS POLISHED 20X11.5 W1008E 20X11.5 LWR.300 505T 8.15 BS POLISHED 2 2754020NITTOIN... 275/40ZR20 Nitto Invo 203180 33.51lbs 3053520NITTO55... 305/35R-20 104V B Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial He said the Nitto tire sizes run large so the 305 Nitto is about like a 315 in the Pzero. I also want to clear the fenders as I am lowering the car.

A 10" rim is on the small side for a 315. There will be a lot of side wall looseness. I run 305/30 on 19x10.5 wheels. I wish I could have moved up to a 19x11 but there was insufficient clearance up front.
As you select wheels, don't forget about the difference in track front to rear. You can take a lot of push out of the car by making the front track equal to the rear track. Since you are buying wheels anyway, why not make them do more for you? |
