If you go with springs your gonna have to replace your shocks in about a year so there is no point to waste your money on springs just be patient and get the coil overs

In my opinion. Best advise TRACK TIME, TRACK TIME, TRACK TIME. We have been involved with many National Championship drivers at our shop. We offer suspensions of more than one brand. The most important thing in developing a good track car is to develop the driver.
As you develop as a driver plan your build on your car. Like any construction project you start with a good foundation (bushings) and if you need to build in steps continue breaks, tires, then sway bars. We would go with performance pads and a high temp break fluid. Then a set of coil overs. Stay with the suspension manufactures that have the most experience and have been proven. Because you still plan to use you Camaro as a street car as will as a track car stay with one that has experience with doing both well. On the Camaro Zeta chassis Pedders has the most experience in that area.
You have received some good advice from some very experience people on this tread. I hope that I have helped. Good luck and be safe.

I have to say.. im really impressed how you "Vendors" have been conducting yourself in this topic...

They usually are bickering matches on whos got the better parts.

Makes me wanna spend some $$$$$$$ :-)

I hate to be told what is best more than anything in the world. because I "USUALLY" find better through my own research in whats best for me. A+++ to you Vendors, it really makes a difference on the camaro5.com community.

When choosing parts for our car I look for value (ie will it do what I want it to do over and over again) a good value is always better then the cheapest price. The cheap parts a usally just that in most cases.

Our Pedders Camaro is the best handling Street Camaro in the USA; hands down!!! There are reasons for this. We have done more testing than any other suspension company. Again, more testing than any other suspension company!!

Some suspension companies are perfectly happy with getting a skid pad test measurement of .97g's Pedders would quit the suspension business if that was all we can do. Currently the last test we did, we were at 1.38g's. We have more advanced equipment on our Camaro and are waiting for good weather. Why settle with suspension companies that are happy with a poor performance of .097gs, when you have the ability to be over 1.0??

Maybe this will tease you:

I had the pleasure to spend a few days with Rick Hollenback, from Synergy Motorts in Fremont Ca, Rick is a seriously talented performance guy who is just about as anal as I am. Rick has been certified in all our Pedders platforms except Camaro. Guess what we did for 2 days!!

Rick and I set this one up significantly more aggressive than I normally do. Why? Check out the wheels!. Custom Forgelines with 305 RE11 Bridgestones on all 4 wheels, custom built to Pedders specs. They are the same configuration as the Pedders Camaro. I will let the owner post up the specs if he wants. But all I can say if you see this Camaro going thru the twisties, do not even try it unless you are a sadistic person who likes to get spanked!

thanks
