If we time this right, we might have caravans coming into Valdosta around the same time from no, ea, so, and we. It would be awesome to see numerous caravans entering the city from each direction. The i95s caravan should get to Valdosta between 1pm and 2pm.

Here is everyone I have so far. Those listed in blue have informed me they have reserved rooms.

Tim, T&T performance, I talked to the Manager at the hotel, and he stated their are some side roads to park on, or they may have space in their parking lot. you should have no problem parking close to the rest of us.

If you are not correct in this list please let me know. I will update it.

The times for our travel are based GMAPS. Our caravan will be departing at 10am from Fredericksburg on the 15th. We will try and maintain 70mph for cruising speeds. This might put us ahead of GMAPS, so you will need to allow for some flexibility within the meet times as you see I have in our arrival times below.

Our first scheduled rest stop will be in NC just after i95/i40 in Benson at the exxon on E. Church St. There are a couple of fast food places just in case anyone needs to get something quick to go. Our next stop will be for lunch/gas in S. Carolina at Indigo Joe's off i95/i20.

Anyone joining in at other locations should be waiting on/off the highway and merging into the caravan as we pass. I will PM my number to everyone for communication, and we will designate a walkie/talkie channel to communicate on as well for those who will use the walkie talkies.

I know we have a number of people in MD, DC, and Va who plan on going. I think it would be safe to start a location for those north of Fredericksburg. I think the entrance of Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg would be a good meeting point for those north of exit 130B on 95south in Va.

Fredericksburg VA exit 130B off 95 southbound. Two lights on the left at Spotsylvania Mall in front of the main entrance. It has a large space for many cars.

I missed the last meeting in Manassas. Did you decide on an overnight on the return trip?

How many cars do you guys think will be stopping at Summit Racing?

Arrival shouldn't be too tough, but departure is gonna be crazy! Between normal traffic and 100+ cars trying to leave their lot (plus 3 lights) you're gonna get split up.

Group Splitting from Summit

There is a Rest Stop about 10 exits South of Summit.
Perhaps if the group does get split up dealing with all the lights, we can have everyone pull into the rest stop and wait on the Rest Stop Exit Ramp which is pretty long and could hold a large group of cars...

The Rest Stop is between exit 181 and 177 which 177 is the exit we take for the 475 Bypass around Macon. Summit is exit 216.

Also if interested - I can check on getting us a police excort getting on the interstate from Summit. That area has provided excorts for our large motorcycle group rides.

Have you ever played leap frog? It is where the first car goes, blocks the lane then the rest go... works good for a few cars but 80... well not so much. tbarber asked if I'd contact the local PD and see about some assistance so I am looking to do that soon. Also, I like ZAP's idea below...

ZAP... Can you contact the local PD? If you have done it before you must know the method... As far as the rest area, we will dip in there for sure as long as we are not crazy late and regroup. Let me know what the PD said...
