There's no way to integrate this into either the 2010 or 2011?

It's called TRADE IN..

you can't add that to the 2010 easily.

That's alright. Turning the key keeps it more car, less computer IMO. Plus I always wanted a switchblade key

Eme's Lexus has PBS, and it's great- for that kind of car. But when it comes to Camaro, I'd rather crank the motor myself

Wow, i feel sorry for all the folks who bought the SGM Limited edition camaro, they just got punched in the face like people who bought the 09 Stang
HUD is cool, kind of a bummer that its standerd on all 2LT and 2SS models
I wonder what the etra HP v6 will do performance wise now

.... GM cant win here

If they added a lot more stuff the folks who have 2010s would complain
We have shown via sales numbers that they got a lot right on the 2010 model

The design team will have finite $ to invest and it looks like right now they are directing that towards some more specialized models - e.g Z28

From memory - what the team here was yelling for most before launch was HUD and a Z28... Based on what I see it looks like GM team is keeping the faith and focussing on those

I would have loved to have had HUD - but I will at least have had the pleasure of driving the car for 9 months of so and to have been on the road while car is still a rarity

I agree, a machine like the Camaro deserves a key. Appliances use push buttons.

So wait they now rate the V6 at 312 but didnt specify what they did to it? They basically just said they underrated it at 304 and ran more tests and got 312... So really nothing has changed performance wise?

Its not designed to be a luxury car. It doesnt need nav or tilting mirrors or parking assist. This car is supposed to be driven by you, not the other way around.

Thats song has no business on a camaro forum and should definately never be played in any camaro ever.

The higher rating will do nothing for performance. There have been no changes to the engine, it is just rated higher. The 2010's aperently also made 312 hp.

Well just because it's a push start doesn't mean it has to be a proximity push start. One of my supervisors has an X5 with a switchblade and push button. But that's why it's a BMW and he paid $50,000 for it lol. And it seems really stupid to have to have the key in the ignition for the push button to work.

And you're right, it does deserve the "extra" effort .

Ford is doing a MUCH better job of this..and, I have a 2SS!!!
This drivetrain has been in place for ONE market year people... Can't expect a complete overhaul this quickly... Personally I think the car is great, and I have no problem dropping a couple mods on it to keep up with the Stang for now. Maybe next year they'll step it up like Ford seems to have done with the 5.0...

Let's not forget, Mustang has been complacent for years now, without any major improvements for one reason: CAMARO WASN'T AROUND to keep Ford on their toes

Now they panic, make a move, and Mustang is back in the running. Maybe next year we'll see some more power in the Camaro SS, but give GM a second to respond! Mustang's numbers were only recently released- it would've taken an act of God to revamp Camaro in time for this press release. However, GM- next year I DO expect to see Camaro putting down much better numbers than the Rustang!

Have faith, I doubt GM will let go of the top slot so easily...
