I agree with this statement, that's why i bought a 2010 and got to be the cool guy with the new Camaro most people haven't seen in real life. I'll have my car 1 year on May 11 and I have no regrets.

It's not fair that I invest 42k on a 2010 2SS (MSRP, RS Package, Sunroof, tax, etc), only to see a more desirable 2SS model come out for 2011, and I cant get back nearly what I invested with the 2010 purchase. Who do I write to at GM with this very valid point to be heard? Thanks.
Everyone here already made my point I just wanted to laugh at your use of the word "investment" in relation to a new car, as if the damn thing will appreciate after you drove it 10,000 miles.

Get Real and enjoy what you have.

You made the choice that you had to have the 2010 model and so you got what you paid for. It is completely fair.

just my 2 cents, but hud is not all that great, it is sometimes annoying and sometimes problematic. We have it on our 2000 pontiac gtp, which we got new and the display has now turned off and will probably cost alot to fix.

The Solution?

I've never considered the liberal approach before, but hey...why don't we make all the rich people (say...those who make over $250K a year), who buy Camaros, pay more for their cars so the rest of us can get a better price. Heck, because they are rich, we can add on an additional tax for anticipated depreciation on the number of 2010s sold that might be traded in for 2011 models. Then, the rest of us can just do a one-for-one swap and drive away with the new model...

Easy fix, right?

Maybe there is a Obama Camaro Entitlement Incentive program that the House and Senate are working on,it will come with full retail trade for the 2010,$5000 per year tax credit for gas and 52 weeks unemployment pay with $10,000 per year Bonus Travel pay!

Some people paid above sticker price just to be the first to have a new Camaro. Should they also get a better trade in?
If you wanted to have all the refinements, you should have just waited a few years. Some people avoid buying the first model of a new car anyway, just to give GM time to work out the bugs.
