I always wanted a HUD, cal was being an elitist back on page whatever it was. Saying that you have to be able to afford a high end model in order to be a good driver or in order to be able to 'handle' a car properly. that was the stupidest bullshit i've heard all year (granted it's only 1/3 of the year in).

We'll see, i'm no way trading in my ride now, i'm just going to keep upgrading and upgrading and eventually throw on the turbo. But this is good news for the community, regardless.

New Seats

A lot of people wanted power pass seat, but that adds weight...and she's already 300# heavier than Mustang. And how many diff people sit over there besides the wife?
As for memory, again, how many diff people are driving your Car?

So far has anyone heard about the colors for the 2011? I read somewhere (probably in one of the forums) that the IBM was a first year color!! Also any word on any possible changes on the appearance of the SS/RS???

No colour changes, aside from the temporary addition of synergy green to the entire lineup. No exterior changes are planned for any of the models. That is extremely rare for a 2nd year of a body style.

Nothing game changing it seems... it is nice that the Camaro is rated above Ford's 3.7L.

If they were to make changes to the exterior, what would you suggest??

I wouldn't mind seeing some functional brake ducts or some hideaways. Other than that, no changes needed IMO.

At first I was a little disappointed in the announcement but after thinking about it and listening to the POSITIVE comments on this thread I am cool with it.
Now it gives me a reason to wait until the announcement of the Z-28

There you'll find your answer.

I do mean to sound MEAN and CRASS... I sincerily do.

Pick up a copy of ANY EFFIN newspaper and U will see that GM pulled one of the GREATEST business moves in history and got a $50Billion+ loan from the fed Gov't at an extremely low interest rate... all the while still having about $20 Billion in the Bank... I LOVE :flag2:

Some try and call it Socialistic... but it's PURE capitalism...

So if U don't think that they had the POCKET CHANGE.. to get that engine recertified... I appologize.. because READING hasn't been taught to U in Elementary School yet.

Hell I could raid my 6 yr old's pockets right now and come up with enuff money to get it done...

So as far as the HUD is concerned, when can we expect to see some photos of the system in action? I've seen the ignition video from a few years ago, just wondering if I missed anything new. I hope it doesn't add too much cost to the 2SS, hopefully no more than $500.

Just look up the Vette HUD. Same thing, as far as I can tell.

Just because an engine was SAE certified, does not mean it was certified in that application. I bet the 3.6 we have they originally used the SAE Certification from the CTS to save money to have it re-certified for the Camaro application... seeing that Ford announced their 1 HP more in their V6 GM went ahead and certified the 3.6 for the Camaro application, which probably uses a better exhaust and air intake flow than the CTS does, thus an increase of 8 HP over the CTS application..

Of course this is MY Speculation, So Fbodfather could you give us the total scoop on how this was accomplished?
