22" rims problems and risks?

Is there a big risk with rims cracking if i get 22" rims for my camaro 1lt? I really like how they look, but not if i have to replace them if i go on pot hole. I live in Los Angeles so there are lot of em here. If its a problem then I'll Probably get 20 inchers

I live in OC which isn't too far from LA and I have not had problems with mine, we do not have too many potholes though

I've got the same concern, I hate to "baby" my ride just for the sake of some sweet wheels.

Also, do 22" wheels mess with the comfort and smoothness of the ride? How does it sound/feel inside the cabin?

I'm hoping that the ride in 22"s are no different than the 20''s since you can put bigger wheels on from the factory...

Very. As long as you get a QUALITY 22, not cheap and heavy China wheels.

Ride is a little stiffer with less sidewall but wife does not complain at all.
