What size tire are you running?

275 / 45 / 18. I have only tried them at 17.5 psi. They should stick even better on lower psi and better prep.

I have Nitto NT05R drag radials (their newest drag radial!) on 18" zo6 rims. These seem to be the softest compound out there and have a treadwear rating of 00. You guys should give 'em a try.

Think you could fit a bigger tire on there?

I think that you could probably run a little bigger tire. I stuck with the closest to stock size they had just so I would know for sure that I would have no problem. Back when I got my setup there was no one to ask so I kinda winged it.

Yeah - I think Hot Rod did a comparo' of those new Nittos to the newest ET Streets and the Nittos performed better. I've been a MT support since getting some ET Streets a couple years ago. I don't know if the newer ones aren't as good as the original, but these Nittos sure seem to work.

Good info. I run the 555R version and am less than pleased. Could have allot to do with lack of sidewall

The ET Streets that I was running was their first version, and loved them. I could pull easy low 1.7s to mid-1.6s without a problem in an almost 3900 pound car with 3.23s and bolt-ons with a medium stall. Those were (are) great tires. I'd like to see them run against the new Nittos.

Saw your 1/4 mile post...Would have thought you would be pulling way lower 60' times with those new tires. Was traction an isue?
