The Bleu Cafe (Restaurant, Martini Bar)
125 N. Patterson Street

Located in Historic Downtown Valdosta, just a few miles from the host hotel.

We drove downtown upon recommendation of one of the girls at the hotel, we were going to go to Cafe Bistro, but as we were parking our Camaro, three police cars were escorting a tour bus and Axel Rose was on it and heading to the Bleu Cafe. Just for curiousity, we did too. Axel never made an appearance, but that's perfectly fine because the food was divine.

Hubby ordered Pulled Pork with Santa Fe Rice and Cuban Black Beans and I ordered Beef Brisket with Red Skin Potatoes and Green Beens. We shared a the Chocolate Cobbler for dessert. Plus, I had a Chocolate Martini and Hubby something else. The grand finale??? $60.... $50.... NO! $42 for all of that, in Columbus we would have paid $65 buck easy!

We highly recommend The Bleu Cafe, and do not think you will be disappointed.

if you guys like straight up BBQ, Smokin Pig on North Valdosta Rd (Exit 22). about a mile east (S.East) of the interstate. usually really busy, but the food is good.

Old South BBQ (kinda homely... local place) is on W. Hill just down from the host hotel.

Red Lobster, Hooters, Outback, Chilis, Buffalo Wild Wings, Longhorns, Texas Roadhouse... and others... all are around the Exit 18 / North St. Augustine Rd / Valdosta Mall area.

we ate there for lunch, huge crowd but very fast service! Highly recommended!

The Bleu Cafe was great... Thanks! Had lunch there. My wife and I visited the small shops around the Cafe in Downtown Valdosta. The towns people are great. Thanks again.
