I am so jealous... I am a Canucks fan and would give anything to see them play. Watched them win in OT last night.
Hope your having a good time though.... should be nice weather for the ride back.

We're Avalanche fans, but I'll help you cheer for the Canucks for a few games. If comes down to the wire, we'll have to become bitter enemies.

I hope you get to see the Canucks play live some time. The Canadian fans are die hard! It's fun to be with them to watch a game.

I used to like the Penguins, and in fact I had been telling my daughter that she will be marrying Sidney Crosby. That has all changed as a result of Sid's winning goal during the Olympic USA game.

I don't like the Kings much at all. I've seen them play a few times. The fans are OBNOXIOUS as hell.

Thanks Slick and I understand about the bitter enemies thing. My brother is a Avalanche fan and my son is a extreme Sharks fan. Kind of sitting on the fence where they are concerned....LOL!
In December 2008 I bought tickets for a Viking - Cardinals game (Go Vikings! and they kicked butt) and my son bought tickets for Coyotes - Red Wings (RW won). I had never been to a pro anything game and it was a blast. My plan is a Canucks game in San Jose next season. Road trip for the Camaro!

Rogue.. what did you put on your plates?

Same plates I had before, just transferred them. They say "Go Avs"....another family member has "Avs 19".

Mine are still in the trunk, haven't gotten the blessing and splash of holy water from the DMV for the transfer yet.

Door Dings

You know, with as passionate as Camaro owners are about their cars, you'd think they have a Hallmark condolences card for just such and event.

"You parked your car miles away,
to prevent other doors from coming your way.

Despite your best efforts comes a knuckle head move,
and the ding in your door has ruined your mood."

Or... something like that.

I park WAY far away for the safety and convenience of others.
Their safety in as much as I have experience flipping out when catching a perpetrator:
I had my Tahoe for a whole 3 days when some chick in a yellow '72 Ford Station Wagon dinged my door getting her rug-rat out of her car. I parked far away, but she just HAD to park within a foot of me. Rather than let it go, I went into Crown Burger, used my profiling skills, and dragged her a$$ outside. Talk about a sailor mouth! I got called EVERY derogatory female name in the book. Upon which I asked my Mom & husband to put my kids in the car... I maintained long enough to get the insurance info. Then it was game on! ....hope my business card hitting you in the face didn't leave a paper cut....But guess what? I had a check in 3 days.

I'm am hoping for world peace of course, but also: No rain, no dust, no bugs and no bird poop. Is that too much to ask?

Ha! that would be nice!
You oughta see my car now! Put another large chunk of miles (over 500) on her in 2 days, and boy do I have the bugs to prove it!

I LOVE it. I'd buy stock in Hallmark if they came out with a card like that. It would sell like crazy. Oh, wait a minute, they're privately owned. Dang.
