Question about intakes?

I have a L99/A6, I was thinking about buying a intake. But the thing is, I want to run a Maggie when I get the money together. So I was wondering if there is any intakes that would work on my car now, that when I got the Maggie, I could still use the same intake. I really dont want to have to buy 2 intakes nor do I want to run the intake that comes with most of the maggies. Thanks for any help!!

ADM Performance makes a version of its intakes for Camaros equipped with the Maggie as well. I don't know how different they are, but check with Andy over at ADM to see if you could get one of their N/A intakes now and pick up the necessary parts to convert it for the Maggie later. That is the only possibility I can think of.

i was doing a little research and yes the s/c cai requires more air intake than the normal cai for the stock engine.

On Andy's (ADM) site it definitely says you can use his intake for NA and forced applications. Not sure what is involved in the switch but give him a call.

I believe that roto-fab makes a kit now if you have their intake and add a sc later. Consists of different tube and longer hoses. Not sure of cost but I am sure its no where near the cost of a new intake. I think they just had a post on it???

Although many have used our standard intake tube with a Maggie, we now offer a tube that not only lines up with the throttle body location on the Maggie, but also maintains a larger cross-section which is a beneficial for the additional air requirements of the S/C. Our intake is very popular with this application due to the great air flow and tuning characteristics.
We do offer the "upgrade kit" as a product which can be purchased later should you decide to go with the super charger. The kit inlcludes:
Inlet elbow
4 1/4" x 4" transition hump hose
straight connector for PCV hose (threads in inlet elbow)
silicone PCV hose (longer for S/C applications)

The upgrade kit is available for $89.95.
