I had this happen to my last new car after only a week......but think of it this way.....the glass is easy to replace......if it was a BIG rock and had hit the body....thats another story.

Hang in there...before you know it, you'll have the windshield replaced.

u wanna get that fixed right away be4 it spreads bigger. unless you gonna replace your whole windshield. i have a chip about a size of a dime. its like a capital Y. used bulls eye windshield repair, cost me $12 at local autozone.

Oh gosh, i know how you feel. I just had a car accident with my Camaro. Front Right bumper is dented in... gosh... I felt like a pit in my stomach when it happened.

YES, it's a possibility...the sooner you can get it fixed, the better...maybe they can just repair it rather than replace the whole thing if you get it done before the crack spreads.........

Dude, if water gets in there, the crack can and will spread, especially one that big. Best to get it fixed asap if possible. Plus you can get pulled over for a cracked windshield depending on where you live. If you get it sealed, it can look like new and save you the high cost of new glass.

That definitely sucks exhaust however...just a thought but...if you have to replace it anyhow, can you get/is the HUD windshield available? You'd be ready for an upgrade if you wanted to in the future.
