Just so you know, air planes only need to get up to 80 miles per hour to achieve lift, no matter what the size.So a plane can fly at 82 mph even though that's dangerously slow. lnd misl sounds cool though.

As a Certified flight instructor and having four years of aerospace science classes (I am a commercial aviation major) I can absolutely assure you that is not right. It all depends on the airfoil curves, the angle that wing is making with the oncoming wind and the weight that the airfoil has to lift. My grandpa's old J3 Cub (two seater and very light with big wings) can lift off in the 30 something mph range, the aircraft I routinely fly are in the upper 60s and transport aircraft may not takeoff until over 100 mph. I dont mean to rip apart what someone else says but there is alot of bad information out there when it comes to how aircraft fly and that is a striped down version of about a four hour lecture/discussion I would have with an actual student.
I agree that land missile is appropriate and wouldn't mind have it on my own 5th gen someday, ohhhh someday..... |

Oh I forgot that my grandpa has 'flown backwards' on occasion. Basically since it is able to fly at such extremely slow airspeeds all he needed was a headwind of just more than what it requires to take off and even though the airplane is moving forward relative to the surrounding air, it is still moving backwards relative to the ground. Given the right headwind I have had cars going faster than me on the ground because the winds are so strong at altitude (4-7,000' while practicing maneuvers).

Racer X, my college nickname, cemented by an unfortunate accident between my Chevy and a Honda. A Honda I T-boned when the driver was doing 60 in a 30 zone, and ran a red right into my path.
Or Crank. I think either would be fitting for a tag. |

Since Tag/Mindz are getting the sticker thing going/done and I'm pretty sure a bunch of people want to get together some place centralized after the convertibles come out, it sounds like we're pretty much forming another "club". So, in addition to the sticker on the quarter window, I'm thinking about
CAMARO5 as my plate.....I know, most people will assume I'm using the 5 as an S, but then I'll get a plain plastic license plate frame and paint the lettering myself to say something like Check us out at CAMARO5.com |

See? I like that one. I thought about that too for my plate, but we only get 6 letters/numbers. It just wouldn't work for me in my state.

I would like to see my plate saying "RAPTORZ" or "ZRAPTOR"
After all, the gen 5 was inspired by the F22 Raptor. Also, this new LS3 v8 powerhouse will prey on imports and muscle competition alike.

I really wish MINDZ wasn't taken in CA. Any chance you can find out when/if that CA plate is going to expire? I'd love to get contact info to see if he'll let it go in 2010 but I know that's probably illegal.

I was going to ask you Tag, if you manage to keep your current SS, are you going to keep the TGURIT plate on it and get a new one, or move the TGURIT to the 5th Gen? If you do that, then what are you going to put back on the SS?
