Just a word of caution.... From what I have had happen in the past, they do not charge the claim against you when you are with there company, but the claim does hit the shared database that all insurance companies use, so a year from now if you are out shopping for insurance another company will see that claim when they pull your record. What I found is the new company will not give you any "claim free discounts" because of that so called "Uncharged" Claim from your current company. They like this because (a).you go with the cheaper repair and (b). It may not be as economical to switch companines with this small claim on your record.
