Got an HHR today.........

as a loaner!!!! I dropped of my car to have the oil leak repaired. They need it for a couple of days to pull back the transmission, take pics for GM, and replace the rear main "cap". I've only had my Camaro for 10 days, but that HHR give me a new appreciation for the Camaro, lol!

That was my loaner when my car went in for a week when the deer ran into me in November.

It definitely did give me a new appreciation for the Camaro.

My dealer said GM will only authorize the rental for 3 days, so they should have it done no later than Thurs. I may be able to pick it up on the way to work Wed morning at 7:00 am (fingers crossed).

Well at least you are saving gas for a couple of days. And if you need to move something now is the time.

my wife drives a HHR, bought it new in 2007. While it's no camaro it's not a bad car for what it is. It's been very dependable and hasn't given us any trouble at all (knock on wood). We almost bought a second camaro for my wife but decided that we really needed one car that had a little more room for those times when the camaro just won't do .

Well I have had an HHR for 3 years now, and although it's not a Camaro.. (and who the heck would even try to compare them is beyond me) For what it is and designed to do there isn't anything That I know of that I would rather have.. And after getting rear ended in it this past winter by a Hyundai and seeing how well it held up compared to the hyundai, I would buy another one if anything ever happeded to it...

It's dark blue, and I'm not hating on it, I just don't like having a 10 day old car in the shop.

Funny thing is I'm actually looking forward to getting one as my dialy driver. I'd love the turbocharged SS version but since I'm trying to be practical about it I may just go for the base version. Either way I think they're pretty cool little cars.
