No when we saw the spyshots for this show there were other scenes where the Camaro came out and it hasn't been in the first two episodes.

did you notice on the 2 nighttime city driving shots that there at the same intersection!
i hope it wasn't all from the same chase?!

from the left, going towards the camara

then somehow going away from the camera!(notice the tall building wayyyyy in to background with a row of white horizontal lights?!

I believe so. Just take any automatic car and try to run through the same gears as he did in the distance the car was driven. At the speed the car was travelling, it would have remained in 1st gear if a manual and if auto, it would never have had such a large downshift when it went down the ramp.
