I'm really hoping it will be built early next week. But I guess there is really no way of knowing that, right?

I can answer that. TPW stands for Target Production Week. As the name implies, this is the week that your car is scheduled to be built. Once it is built, you can expect your car to be delivered in about two weeks.

1) TPW of 5-3-2010 means your car is on schedule to be built that week.

2) When you get to status 3400 (usually the week prior to your TPW date) your car is committed to be built. You want to get to 3400!

3) Once you receive notification of your VIN# during your TPW, it takes about 7 to 14 days to be delivered to your dealer.

If you haven't registered at www.camarotracking.com , you should check this out. The link below will give you some further info on what they can do for you after you get your VIN#. They aren't as quick as Becky, but it keeps you going through this final phase. Hang in there, the hardest part is waiting for it once you know it's been built.
